Short Stories From My Long Life An Autobiography by Tom Shirley
Anyone undertaking the task of writing his or her life story will inevitably relfect back over that life. In so reflecting, he or she will recall bad decisions and bad choices made over that lifetime. Good decisions and good choices will also be remembered. Without question the best dicsion I ever made was joiting hte U.S. Navy, which led to my stumbling across the extreme good fortune of becoming a Cryptologic Technician. Had I not been a CT, I would not have gone to Scotland where I met and married my beautiful bride, Rhoda. She is the love of my life and has accompanied and supported me over a 23-year Navy career and followed by a second, 22- year career with the Federal Communications Commission.
